This was an idea that's been in my head for about a year now, and finally I got around to buying the correct fabric, had it specially ordered and shipped. I normally buy in stores only, but (shameless advertising) [link] has LOVELY CUDDLE FLEECE, SO SOFT. I had it shipped, and it was WORTH IT. Decent fabric prices too.
This is a life sized espeon, espeons are 2'11" (god that's huge). It is completely stuffed, and completely fabric save for the white spots on the eyes. It is a flopsy style plush, meaning it flops around a LOT. Exactly like an espeon should *flop* Yes that's my DSi for size comparison.
I've been working on this over the past week, and was bent and determined to finish this tonight.
Softest plush I ever made, and i love it to pieces. It's coming to college with me.
The eye thing in the background is from a game called touhou.
Statistics: Materials: Cuddle fleece lavender, silk nylon, antipill fleece for the gem, polyester stuffing. Size: 2'7" nose to butt (a couple inches shy of the pokedex entry, but i based size off of the anime as well)
I am not making more of these, there is no existing pattern. Do not ask me for commissions. And this one is certainly not for sale.

Crying bc its perfect and I was like awww yeeee gon get me o e of these and then I read the description Why are you so perfect Why can't I be good at things I just want to have the thing (Sorry I came from tumblr)
Do you hand-sew or machine sew? I'd love to make a pokemon plush some day (Duskuuuuull~), but I'm not amazing at hand sewing. If you machine sew, which you probably do, how easy is it?
Machine sewing is way easier for larger plushes, but I start doing hand sewing for smaller details. I'm capable of doing both, hand sewing is easy to pick up. Machine is super easy, but there's a lot of technical things you gotta learn (learning to set the bobbin is so annoying)
i couldnt help but notice the link you provided had the fleece for 5.99 a yard. i was wondering if you had checked out walmart.com? i use them because the antipill is 4.94 and the shipping is like 92 cents. i know its not a huge difference but i figure the difference piles up after awhile. :3 also i tried to make an espeon plush and it looks kind of like it needs to go on a diet, pudgy espeon lol
I don't trust walmart for fabric for a lot of reasons, one being it's not a fabric store. I don't trust the quality, and I didn't use standard antipill fleece for this. I haven't used standard for a long time, and fleece is really easy to find bad quality of.
